Global Expansion

The Global Expansion of Nike.com into 27 diverse and mostly immature e-commerce markets in just under 12 months represented an incredibly exciting analytics challenge. Alex dimensionalized the opportunity using an innovative blend of retail, e-commerce and economic data, and was a key member of the leadership team that won a coveted Nike ‘Simplify and Go’ Maxim for the project.

China Expansion

China has so many cities and making sense of them beyond the basic tier approach is a fascinating challenge. Alex is an expert in blending proxy data in emerging markets and a specialist in guiding businesses to the right neighbourhood and the right intersection (like this one in Jinan), based on understanding where, how and why customers shop. Alex developed expansion strategies to drive business growth in the UK, Japan, China, Turkey and the USA.
